From the producers of the Japan LNG & Gas Summit, the Japan LNG & Gas Digital Session: Defining Japan’s LNG & Gas Agenda to Achieve its 2050 Net-Zero Target took place in May, with host sponsors JERA and Tokyo Gas and support from METI and the IEEJ. The fruitful digital session gathered 15 speakers over 4 hours, delivering exclusive presentations and thought-provoking conversations. The session was attended by over 500 senior professionals from across the value chain and the globe, representing 50 countries.

With the Global Energy Review 2021 from the IEA recently being published, the digital session explored the role of natural gas in a sector in transition. Industry leaders, from government representatives, LNG producers and buyers, to financers all shared their insights and opinions on the relevance of the fuel in Asia.
