ABOUT TECHNICAL CALL FOR PAPERS

The Technical Conference within the Japan Energy Summit & Exhibition holds a pivotal role as a platform highlights groundbreaking innovations and inspiring visions that can expedite net-zero ambitions, facilitating a transition to a more sustainable future.

Professionals spanning the energy value chain, from technical and scientific experts to executives and policymakers, are encouraged to submit insightful and evidence-based papers through the Call-for-Papers portal. These submissions will undergo review and be developed into presentations for the Technical Conference.

The inaugural Technical Conference will serve as a showcase for innovations shaping a cleaner energy future. It will spotlight advancing technology, detailed research, and the application of evolving policies across natural gas, LNG, hydrogen, ammonia, renewables, and climate technologies.

Energy professionals are encouraged to submit technical papers by 19 January 2024, for consideration in developing their papers into presentations for the 2024 Technical Conference.

Abstracts are welcomed in both English and Japanese, and simultaneous translation will be available for all sessions. Presenters may deliver their presentations in their preferred language.

The Technical Conference for the Japan Energy Summit & Exhibition serves as a leading platform for global experts, inviting submissions from the entire energy value chain.

In its inaugural edition, the Technical Conference will welcome submissions of hundreds of forward-thinking papers from around the world, all to be considered for inclusion in the technical programme.

The call for papers contributes to crafting a Technical Conference that fosters collaboration, creativity, and the development of actionable solutions.

Following the submission of papers, the Governing Body will review and select the most outstanding contributions.

Why submit a paper?

The Japan Energy Summit & Exhibition Call for papers presents an invaluable opportunity for technical experts and executives to deliver their insights at Japan’s preeminent natural gas, LNG, hydrogen, ammonia, renewables and climate technologies conference.

To ensure the quality and relevance of selected papers, all submissions will be peer-reviewed by the leading energy professionals in the Governing Body.

Successful submissions will be invited to develop the abstract into a paper to be presented at the Japan Energy Summit & Exhibition.

Lead presenters will receive a complimentary delegate pass to Japan Energy Summit & Exhibition.
Co-authors are offered passes at a beneficial rate: Presenters will be profiled on the event website and in conference literature.
Papers will be published in full on Energy Connects, a dmg events-owned media partner.
