Exclusive Japan Energy Programme at Gastech 2026

The Japan Energy Summit & Exhibition is Japan's annual energy event, held in Tokyo, with its next edition taking place in May 2027. In 2026, it will be showcased through Japan Energy in Focus - a dedicated feature programme within Gastech's global exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand, from 14-17 September 2026.

The programme will bring together senior government officials, energy executives, investors and technology innovators through a strategic conference, a Japan Energy Pavilion, a leadership roundtable and a networking reception. Positioned at one of the world's largest energy gatherings, the Japan Energy Programme will amplify Japan's energy transition priorities and connect the Tokyo Summit's strategic discussions with a global audience of decision-makers.

Japan Energy Summit & Exhibition Returns in 2027

As a major consumer and importer of energy, Japan has long had to navigate the complex global intersections between supply chains and geopolitical trends. In a new era of heightened international energy crisis and systemic resource disruption, the supply resilience and diversification priorities of Japan’s 7th Strategic Energy Plan (2025) are rapidly being expanded.

The Japan Energy Summit & Exhibition, taking place once again in Tokyo in May 2027, is the premier international forum for convening energy policymakers and leaders from across the value chain, to define fast evolving strategic imperatives, showcase technologies and solutions, and strengthen partnerships and investment across the Asia region.​ ​

To achieve its structural transition towards becoming an electrostate, to enhance industrial energy efficiencies and to meet escalating future energy demand, Japan must unlock its domestic power potential and drive regional cooperation on energy security.
