If you are landing at Narita Airport at night, consider arranging an airport transfer as public transportation is not available 24 hours and typically ends around 21:00 or 22:00.

Business attire is required for all attendees of the Japan Energy Summit & Exhibition, including networking receptions.

To streamline your onsite experience, and reduce technical issues, please bring your own earphones to listen to the audio translation. Using your phone, you can connect directly to the audio feed, or read a live transcript on your device. 

Wi-Fi is available for all attendees throughout the event. To access the Wi-Fi, delegates will need to enter their mobile numbers and complete SMS verification.

Although Japan is very advanced in terms of technology, it is still very much a cashdriven society and many shops, restaurants etc. will not accept credit card. For this reason, it’s always good to have local currency on you. You may also get a Suica or Pasmo travel card which can be used for traveling on public transportation and purchasing items from shops.

While it can be humid in Tokyo, June is typically a rainy season. Be prepared to bring an umbrella around.

If you require vegetarian or vegan options, major hotels and restaurants should be able to accommodate. Smaller food outlets, however, may not offer the option.
