Taiwo Oyewole is currently the Strategy Advisor at Shell, focusing on decarbonizing the global downstream businesses. She is currently leading the global Hydrogen Strategy for Shell.

She joined Shell as a Process Engineer, working in roles such as Front-End Engineering & Design, Detailed Design & Commissioning and Operations support for the Central North Sea Platforms. Taiwo transitioned to Trading & Shipping as an Oil Markets Analyst, where she learned about crude/products trading fundamentals.

She relocated to Houston to work as a Senior Facilities Engineer for the unconventional assets, Eagle Ford and Permian, where managed the design modifications for 50+ facility well-pads. She relocated back to the UK, working as the Bitumen Supply Optimization Manager for Europe/Africa, responsible for maximizing the financial margin within a dynamic market across various sale channels.

Taiwo graduated from Imperial College London with a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and an EMBA from London Business School.
