Chris Starling is the Chief Strategy Officer of JERA Asia, based in Singapore. He leads the strategy development and business planning for JERA’s gas-to-power and low greenhouse gas thermal power businesses across Asia.  Chris also serves on the Board of Directors and Investment Committee at Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCO Group), a leading power business based in Thailand which JERA which JERA is an equity partner of.

With 20 years of experience across Asian and European energy markets, Chris specializes in the development of market entry strategies and the commercialization of power projects for independent power producers (IPPs), developers, and investors. He has extensive experience in energy market analysis across the entire fuel-to-power value chain in Asia, including policy and regulation, fundamentals and forecasting, and competitor analysis.
