Gordon Murray is a Tokyo-based energy industry professional with deep experience across Asia's energy and electricity markets. He currently serves as Country Manager, Japan at Ogre AI, a role he has held since February 2026, where he is responsible for growing the business across the APAC region. Ogre AI is an energy tech company that builds AI-driven forecasting and analytics tools to help utilities and energy providers predict demand and renewable generation, improving grid efficiency and reducing operational costs.

Prior to Ogre AI, Gordon was Managing Director at Industrial Info East Asia (part of Industrial Info Resources / IIR Energy), where he tracked and analyzed developments across East Asia's energy sector — including plant outages, capacity changes, and market shifts at major facilities throughout the region. His work has spanned broader energy markets and electricity markets across China, Southeast Asia, Oceania, South Korea, and Japan, giving him a detailed view of the region's power infrastructure and market dynamics.
