I-Pulse Inc.

bio
Abby joined I-Pulse in 2024, a private company under Robert Friedland’s leadership that is developing revolutionary commercial applications for pulsed power technology to tackle some of today’s most pressing global challenges.
The technology repeatedly compresses and releases pulses of electrical energy in billionths of a second in ways to disrupt major heavy industrial processes, in manufacturing, resource exploration, and renewable energy generation, in ways to make them more cost effective, more efficient, and more sustainable.
Abby brings extensive experience in public policy and international relations working in, and with, governments around the world. She serves on the I-Pulse Management Team, leading the Group’s government affairs and policy advocacy, media and stakeholder liaison, and corporate social responsibility.
Prior to joining I-Pulse, Abby served as the Head of Policy and Programme at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, as the strategic adviser to the Secretary-General and overseeing staff management for the Office of the Secretary-General and policy coordination, program management, and communications.
Abby previously held positions in the Australian Government, starting her career at the Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts, before joining the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, in leadership roles advising on policy areas including international trade, regulatory reform, and foreign investment.
