Hiroshi Kato serves as Managing Executive Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Marketing since 2022 and driving marketing initiatives, including the Ichthys LNG project in Australia and major oil assets in Abu Dhabi. He is also focusing on expanding INPEX's trading presence through the procurement of US LNG and the marketing development of low carbon business such as Blue Ammonia, Green Hydrogen and products such as E-Methanol. He has more than 36 years of professional experience in the industry and has taken various positions within the Oil & Gas Marketing Department such as Vice President for Asset Development and Chief Coordinator in the Jakarta office, where he played a key role in the development of the Abadi LNG project in Indonesia.
