Jeong Joon (JJ) Yu is Vice Chairman of SK Group and CEO of SK Americas and SK On. He leads SK’s global growth strategy across energy and technology, while overseeing all U.S. operations, investments, and external engagement. He has over 30 years of experience spanning traditional oil and gas to clean energy. Over a decade as former CEO of SK E&S, he led the company’s full-scale entry into the global LNG value chain. He later founded PassKey to accelerate U.S. grid decarbonization and has been instrumental in SK’s broader energy transition. In 2024, he launched SK Americas as a platform for government engagement and shared services across SK’s U.S. businesses.
