A global business development executive with over 30 years of experience living and working in Asia, including 20 years in Japan, I work with CXO and Board members of Asian headquartered companies in their globalization initiatives, using Green Transformation (GX) strategies to drive Digital Transformation (DX).  Originally from and mostly educated in the USA, I’ve spent nearly all my adult life living in Japan, China or Australia and working across the Indo-Pacific region and occasionally in North American and Europe.

I began my career with Chiyoda Corporation in Tokyo in the Environmental Business Development Dept. in the early 1990s, servicing the global coal fired power generation sector.  From 1998 I spent over 15 years in the management consulting sector with Deloitte Consulting, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Headstrong Capital and Genpact, scaling up multiple business units providing IT, project management, business process improvement, and business transformation services.  The power generation and energy sectors have been my most significant client base but I’ve also had extensive experience in the telecommunications, banking & insurance, automotive, manufacturing and consumer sectors.

In 2015 I founded and then successfully exited a Smart Building and Energy Efficiency solutions integration company in China, servicing industrial real estate & waste-to-energy projects across China, SEA and USA.  I returned to Tokyo for the 3rd time in my career in late 2020 and in 2023 joined Capgemini to lead the Japanese non-financial services global strategic accounts as a Global Client Partner and Sustainability Head.
