Siamak heads MENA Gas Research and Global LNG supply analytics. He specializes in the natural gas and LNG sector, leading FGE’s short- and long-term market analysis across MENA, Europe, and Latin America. He has more than 20 years of extensive commercial and analytical experience in the gas and LNG industry. Prior to joining FGE, Siamak was part of a gas sales and marketing team, where he was involved in commercial negotiations for pipeline gas sales to Europe, the Middle East, and CIS regions.

In gas and LNG research, Siamak specializes in modelling and long-term supply–demand forecasting. He also has deep expertise across the LNG value chain, covering both upstream and downstream segments of the gas business. At FGE, he has led numerous techno-commercial studies across a wide range of topics, including gas monetization strategies, LNG trade and supply optimization, in-depth market surveys, competition analysis, LNG supply and cost assessments, asset evaluation, as well as LNG shipping, and bunkering strategies.

On the commercial side, he has supported various market players on LNG price benchmarking and marketing strategies, price dispute resolution, and broader commercial aspects of gas trade, including pipeline gas and LNG sales and purchase agreements.

Siamak is an internationally expert on the MENA gas/LNG sector. He holds an MBA from Victoria University, Australia.
