Ryoji Miyawaki joined Accenture in 1998 working in consulting for the energy industry. In September 2010, he assumed the role of Head of the Electricity and Gas Business Division. In 2018, Ryoji left Accenture to found Aakel Technologies Inc. in August of that same year as the CEO and developed services for EV charging and EMS. He also served as a visiting scholar at Stanford University to study technology and ecosystems related to carbon neutrality for business planning. In October 2022, he got selected by the U.S. Cleantech Group as one of the innovative clean technology startups in the Asia-Pacific region. He has authored Climate Tech from Nikkei.
