From June 2025, assumed the role of Country Manager for Takeshi Matsuki Japan Coutry Manager, GWEC Japan at the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC). Prior to this, served as Senior Manager at Vena Energy, responsible for offshore wind bidding strategies, handling public tender projects from Round 2 onwards. Concurrently, actively participated in policy review and advocacy activities within industry associations. His career began in technical development at an environmental equipment manufacturer. He subsequently moved to a think tank, where he spent many years engaged in research, investigation, and consulting within the environmental and energy sectors. Through secondments to joint ventures with power company and central government ministries, he cultivated a balanced perspective on the industry, informed by both private and public sector viewpoints. He graduated from the Department of Sanitary Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kyoto University in March 1996.
