Claudio Ribeiro is the Head of LNG Trading, Asia at Vitol, based in Singapore, where he leads the firm's Asian LNG trading activities for the world's largest independent energy trader.

Claudio brings a trader's perspective on pricing volatility, hedging strategy and navigating structural dislocations in global gas and LNG markets.

He has more than two decades of experience across energy, commodities and financial markets, with deep expertise in LNG trading, portfolio optimization, structured finance and the risk management across global markets. Before joining Vitol, he was a Senior Trader at Shell, based in Dubai and previously Singapore, responsible for accounts across Latin America, Europe and the Middle East. Prior to that, he worked at J.P. Morgan as an Executive Director in cross-asset derivatives structuring, based in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Claudio holds an MBA in Finance from INSEAD.
