Stephen Stapczynski manages Bloomberg News' award-winning team of energy reporters across the Asia Pacific. The team is focused on chronicling the energy transition, covering everything from natural gas and coal to nuclear and renewables. He joined Bloomberg in 2015 and is currently based in Singapore. Prior to his current role, Stephen led global LNG coverage and helped to establish Bloomberg News as the authoritative voice in the industry.

Before joining Bloomberg, Stephen worked at Japanese trading house Sumitomo Corporation in Washington DC and New York. Stephen holds a Bachelor's degree from Georgetown University.
