Emmanuel de Reynies is an accomplished senior executive with over 30 years’ experience in oil trading. He is Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Trading, a global commodities trading company and part of ADNOC Group, one of the world’s leading energy companies. Appointed to the role in January 2026, Emmanuel is responsible for leading the company’s strategy and overall operations.

Emmanuel has a distinguished track record of maximizing value across the oil and gas value chain. Prior to joining ADNOC in December 2018, he held several senior leadership roles across international trading companies, including positions as CEO and Head of Trading.

He served as Managing Director, Trading and Downstream at the Addax and Oryx Group in Geneva from 2008 to 2013. Before that, he was Managing Director and Head of Crude Oil Trading for Asia Pacific at TOTAL SA’s Trading and Shipping affiliate in Singapore from 2003 to 2008.

Earlier in his career, Emmanuel was General Manager, Crude Oil Middle East and Asia at TOTAL Trading from 2000 to 2003, and held a number of trading roles across Geneva, London, Tokyo and Singapore between 1988 and 2000. Emmanuel holds a master’s degree in Economics, Finance & Marketing.
